An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Saturday, repeating until August 11, 2018
Join us for this two-part class on August 4 and 11 that provides education about key topics in planning for retirement, including Social Security, Medicare and Other Insurance, Understanding your 401(K) and IRA, Behavioral Economics, Investing, and Estate Planning.
Class members will also conduct a self-assessment of their retirement readiness by completing a Retirement Navigation Chart. This tool allows you to quickly pinpoint areas of financial strength and weakness and plan for the future more effectively.
Presented with humor, engaging graphics, easy to follow examples, and real life stories, this course can be a fun and vital step toward a more secure and fulfilling retirement. This class is purely educational. No advice will be given and no specific products will be discussed or recommended.
The author and instructor of the course is Phillip Smelser, CRPC. Phillip has over 25 years of experience as an independent financial advisor and an educator. He is a resident of Burnsville, along with his wife Cheryl and their two teenage children. Phillip and Cheryl have a local independent financial advisory practice, Financial Education and Achievement.
